MEDE Technik was founded in 1982 and manufactures and markets surgical instruments. The company is owned by Ms. Lucia Weggler and has a staff of 14 people. Apart from surgical instruments, the company also manufactures Kirschner wires and Steinmann pins that are used in bone and spinal marrow surgery for the reinforcement and stabilisation of bone fractures. MEDE Technik also markets containers and supplies for the medical sector and offers repair services for surgical, dental and veterinary instruments. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485.
