With headquarter in Spaichingen, in the south of Baden-Württemberg, Dieter Marquardt Medizintechnik is located in one of the most important centres in the world for medical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering and electronics. Supported by a modern machine park of cnc-machines and partly of self-designed special machines, about 70 highly qualified employees produce Osteosynthesis and spine products.
Marquardt implants are made either of stainless non-magnetic austenitic chromium-nickel steel or of titanium. Titanium is used as commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti), or as a titanium alloy. The titanium alloys consist of the material TiAI6V4 or TiAISNb7.
All raw materials correspond to the international IS0 standards as well as to national DIN and ASTM standards. The raw material is obtained from exclusive manufacturers who have to keep to uniform specifications and terms of delivery.
