Cross-sector projects

Biotechnology and the life sciences are the core competencies of BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg. One of our main missions is to support new, innovative start-up projects. This is because we believe that the transformation to a sustainable economy depends above all on people actively shaping change from within. We also organise networking activities for the life sciences in our two specialist areas: health and bioeconomy.

Over 180 start-ups in the healthcare industry, with its biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, have been successfully founded in Baden-Württemberg since 2010. We want to continue this success story. The EXI Start-up Vouchers are an excellent tool for achieving this. We are also working closely with competent partners in the Innovation Ecosystem BW project and in the specialist initiative for start-ups in the bioeconomy field.

EXI Start-Up Voucher

Most company founders in the high-tech sector have excellent knowledge of their field. However, they usually lack the commercial know-how, business experience or knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Together with our partner Steinbeis-Beratungszentrum Existenzgründung and in cooperation with other network partners, we offer EXI Startup Vouchers that provide technology-oriented company founders with the opportunity to participate in two-tier consultations.
