Alsace BioValley and BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg host their 15th Meet & Match event on the topic computer- and robot-aided surgery on 25th of June 2018 at IRCAD in Strasbourg.
The event focuses on current trends, technologies and instrumentation in computer- and robot-aided surgery as well as on imaging and virtual & augmented reality in the operating room. Furthermore the topics simulation and training for surgeons will be discussed. Two keynotes and eight talks will highlight currents trends and research and development projects.
Company representatives and project leaders from the healthcare industry as well as academic researchers from both sides of the Rhine – France (Grand Est region) and Germany (Baden-Württemberg) – meet each other to generate new impulses or partnerships for joint developments. This event will give an overview on current issues in the field and will be a great opportunity for medical technology companies and academic labs to present and envision future approaches.
To intensify the networking attendees will have the possibility to present their company or research group in a two-minute-presentation in the short presentation session prior to the networking lunch. The number of partcipants in this session is limited and arranged for producing, researching and developing companies and research institutions. A selection will be made by the organisers. Please apply for a pitch in the short presentation session until 1st of June via the registration form.
Additionally, a 30 minutes visit of the French research and training center IRCAD (event location) will be offered starting at 5 pm. Only a limited number of places are available. Please register for the visit in the registration form. Places will be allocated in order of registration.
The participation in this event is free of charge. Registration is mandatory. The presentations will be held in English.
The Meet & Match takes place the day before the partnering event MedFIT and allows participants to use the synergies of both events.
